Objective:Formé/Déformé is a cycle of awakening to the digital arts.
It offers an experience through play and experimentation. Divided into 3 themes, each workshop tackles different aspects of creating an interactive audiovisual work. Open to all the curious, the teaching will bring out the sensibilities of each individual, and culminate in a collective creation using Touchdesigner and Ableton software.
Friday April 11 I. Mirror, Mirror: the augmented webcam.
Play with your image! Starting with a webcam feed, learn how to generate digital effects in real time, detect your movements thanks to AI, and why not link the two?
Saturday April 12 II. Gesticulated music: driving Ableton with your body.
Become an orchestra conductor! Tame sound waves, manipulate and control sounds, and sculpt a musical work using gestures?
Sunday April 13 III. Breaking the screen: pixels in physical space.
SHOW-TIME ! It’s time to show your work to the public! Understand the constraints of broadcasting and learn the basics of videomapping. Are you the digital magicians?
Participant Profile: All audiences.
You don’t need to own a computer to take part in the workshops. Those who wish can also come with TouchDesigner software installed on their machine. An « à-la-carte » cycle, the 3 workshops complement each other but are autonomous. Attendance on all 3 days is not compulsory. Anyone interested in discovering interactive arts is welcome.
