E-FEST CAMP #2

From Event to Community

With the first edition in April 2025, we took a chance on a comeback. A return for an iconic festival of digital cultures that chose to leave its usual venue at the Carthage Cathedral to write a new chapter in the heart of southern Tunisia, in Ksar El Ferch. This return was a promise: to put artistic creation at the service of the local people, their heritage, and their imagination.

Today, that promise is becoming a reality.

The second edition of E-FEST CAMP, to be held from October 30 to November 1, 2026, marks a new milestone in the project’s development. More than just a cultural event, it affirms our belief that these regions are spaces for creation, innovation, experimentation, and knowledge-sharing—where culture can become a true driver of social, economic, and environmental transformation.

For three days, E-FEST CAMP will bring together artists, residents, artisans, researchers, partners, and journalists around a program that fosters dialogue between contemporary creation, heritage, and civic engagement. Much more than a festival, this edition aims to be a space for experimentation where artistic practices meet local expertise to envision new forms of cooperation and development.

This year, we aim to strengthen this dynamic by fostering collaborations among creators, young people, artisans, and cultural actors. Because innovation arises above all from the convergence of perspectives and experiences, E-FEST CAMP encourages the sharing of knowledge, the transmission of skills, and the co-creation of projects rooted in the realities of the region.

Tataouine has established itself as the festival’s host city because this region embodies an exceptional heritage, shaped by its landscapes, its history, and the people who live there. Straddling memory and creation, traditions and innovations, it offers a unique setting for inventing new narratives and fostering initiatives that shape the future.

This second edition marks a new milestone in this collective ambition.
