Gymkhana studied electro-acoustic music at the Paris Conservatoire.
He produced his first ep, mixed by Tyrone Downie (Bob Marley & The Wailers), and his first album in 2003, which was warmly received by critics (Laurent Garnier, Fréderic Galliano). Meanwhile, he releases albums with Mike Ladd, rRoxymore and plays an audio-visual trilogy « euphoria-crisis-recession ». In 2022, he produced an album by Malagasy artist Thominot Hazolahy. Thominot introduced him to trance. 20 years later, he is still exploring the limits of electronic music. For the E-fest, he’ll be playing his « start from scratch » live set. No programming, all live! An adept of physical music, he plays between Detroit techno and trance music.
