Based on recordings made by Anas Ghrab with local Ghomrassen artists and musicians, Shinigami San explores their transformation into new sound aesthetics. This project invites us to rediscover these authentic sounds through new textures, offering a double tribute: on the one hand, to the richness of their musical heritage, and on the other, to a futuristic vision of their sonic potential. Between experimentation and in-depth listening, this experience will be enhanced by immersive quadraphonic broadcasting.
This performance is based on recordings made by Dr Anas Ghrab of musicians and female voices from the Ghomrassen region between 2007 and 2014.
A regular at E-fest, Shinigami San is one of the pioneers of the Tunisian electronic scene, his work at the crossroads of different disciplines: music, video installations, photography and film music. Founder of the World Full Of Bass collective in Tunis, his electronic explorations oscillate between club music and experimental music.
