Unpaid care work- Theater and Reality

This informal discussion will address the play Intouchable, from the artistic residency Production Invisible 8:45, highlighting invisible care work and gender inequalities. Through this discussion, the artists will explore how theater can reveal the often hidden realities of unpaid domestic and care work, mainly performed by women. The artists will share their experiences and how this artistic creation contributes to a plea for a better distribution of responsibilities and recognition of care work.

This program is carried out in partnership with UN FEMMES for Tunisia and Libya. As part of the Dare to Care (DTC) program, which aims to contribute to greater gender equality and women’s empowerment.

SITUATED AT THE HEART OF THE FESTIVAL, THE AGORA IS A NEW SPACE FOR CONVIVIALITY AND CITIZEN EXPRESSION ON TOPICS WE WISH TO FOCUS ON, THE ENVIRONMENT, EDUCATION IN THE TIME OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND IMMIGRATION.
