Objective:

Paintmapping involves bringing a mural to life through projection mapping and sound design.

Creative, fun, and interactive, this 3-in-1 workshop offers an immersion in three complementary artistic practices to create a vibrant audiovisual work: visual arts, video mapping, and interactive sound design. The goal is to provide children with a space for free expression where they can explore different forms of creativity and nurture their imagination through these various disciplines.

Guided by three participating artists, the 15 young participants are divided into small groups to experiment with each practice and contribute to the creation of a collective artwork. Working with materials, paints, and three-dimensional objects to create a triptych inspired by the theme of sand. Manipulating interactive boxes designed for the workshop and using video mapping software to generate and project video textures. Musical performance using modified and augmented traditional instruments, as well as recordings of everyday sounds, to create a live sound composition.

The workshop culminates in a public presentation, during which the 15 participants will showcase their collaborative creation on stage.
